Awadh Aam Utpadak Evam Bagwani Samiti (AAUBS), a community based organization of farmers, who tried to double the income of farmers in Lucknow organized an Farmer-Scientist dialogue at ICAR-Central Institute for subtropical Horticulture, Rahmankhera, Lucknow on 05.03.2019. More than 200 farmers were participated in this programme. The main aim of this dialogue was to perk up the income of farmers through scientific way farming. On this occasion, Dr. R.P. Singh, Director, Horticulture and food processing and Shri Ramakant Pandey, Director, Uttar Pradesh State Agricultural Produce Markets Board were also present as Chief and Special guest respectively. Some Progressive local farmers that are plus side their income via engage in farmer-first project also share their experience and suggestion with the visitors. On this juncture, Dr. S. Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH honoured with Life time achievement award. The Scientists, Dr. R.A. Ram, Dr. S.R. Singh, Dr. Maneesh Mishra, Dr. P.K. Shukla and Dr. Gundappa, Dr. P.S. Gurjar were also flattered with best Scientist award while Dr. R.P. Singh was admired with special attainment award.
